Bahar Batvand

Bahar Batvand approaches material as a field of possibilities. Deconstruction, reconstruction and experimentation bring form closer to an emotional state, allowing a distinctive presence to emerge.

Based in Düsseldorf, she holds degrees in painting from Azad University in Tehran and in performing arts from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Her practice grows from the meeting of these disciplines and has been shown in numerous exhibitions in Germany.
