Hamid Torkashvand

For Hamid Torkashvand, a sculpture is conceived from within as much as it is seen from outside. His forms connect structure, concept and perception in an investigation of how we inhabit the world.

An Iranian artist based in Paris, he trained in painting and holds a master’s degree from Azad University in Tehran. His solo exhibitions, including “Third World War” and “Is”, form part of a trajectory spanning group exhibitions, festivals and biennials.
