Maryam Aghaei

Maryam Aghaei creates visual narratives in which individual experience meets collective memory. Painting, photography, performance and video allow her to address the human and social questions of our time.

Born in Tehran in 1973 and a graduate of its University of Art and Architecture, she lives and works in France. Since 2002, her work has been presented in ten solo exhibitions and more than eighty group exhibitions internationally.
