Mahdi Fatehi

Mahdi Fatehi creates images that distil a story, a tension or an idea. Born in Tehran in 1982, he graduated in graphic design from Azad Art University and developed a poster practice rooted in cinema and theatre.

His work has received awards at the Toyama and Sofia triennials and Tehran’s Fadjr festival. A teacher since 2007 and an exhibition curator, he brings together graphic precision, a commitment to sharing knowledge and a distinctive curatorial eye.
