Mohamad Eskandari

Mohamad Eskandari situates his painting within the history of contemporary Iran. Born in Tehran in 1982, he divides his practice between Tehran and Paris, working in both easel painting and mural art.

Trained at Tehran’s University of Arts, he devoted his master’s research to the influence of the Islamic Revolution on Iranian painting. Solo exhibitions, including at Aaran and NextStreet Gallery, and international group shows extend this dialogue between collective history and pictorial language.
