Narges Mohammadian

Narges Mohammadian transforms natural fibres into spaces of connection. Through sewing, weaving and textile construction, she explores the fragility of life, identity and the relationship between people and their environment.

Her background in graphic design, civil engineering and interior design informs her understanding of material and space. Unbleached muslin is central to her installations and performances, in which artwork and audience become part of a shared experience.
